Jeremiah 22:1–3 — These verses show Jehovah urging the kings of Judah to act with justice, defend those who were being treated unfairly, and stop doing violence. It reminds us that Jehovah values kindness, fairness, and compassion. We can imitate him by treating others with dignity and always doing what is right.

Jeremiah 22:4–5 — These verses show that Jehovah sincerely wanted the kings to succeed and enjoy his blessings. But whether they experienced those blessings depended on how they responded to him. It reminds us that Jehovah also wants the very best for us. When we choose to follow his ways, we put ourselves in a position to enjoy his love, guidance, and blessing.
